CO Gurus,
I have one Doubt regarding Operating concern.
1) while we create operating concern, is there any transport reqest will generate.
if generate, for which transaction or config of operating concern will generate as Transport requests.
2) one more is - in co what are master data toatal.
mainly in operating concern , characterstics and valuefiels are master data or config part.
Please tell me ur idea on this.
Regards,
Ashok.
Hi Ashok,
1. During the Maintain Operating Concern system willnot generate any TR for that you have to exicute KE3I Transaxction code.
2. Master data in CO: Cost Elements, Cost Centers, Activity types, SKFs and all these groups.
In COPA - Characterstics, Value fields and Characteristic Values are master data.
Thanks,
LN

Hi,
Here in KE3I T CODE, do we need to execute all nodes or only first node only in fresh implementaion.
The below nodes are there in that T CODE. Please suggest ih this regard.
-operating concern
-calculated kf
-cycle
-Planning layout
-Planning level
-Personalisation profile
-Report
-Form
-kf scheme
Thanks,
Ashok K
Hi Ashok,
1. If you create Operating Concern by IMG path: Enterprise Structure > Definition > Controlling > Create Operating Concern in Sandbox client, you don't need to create Transport Request (TR).
But if you want to create TR for management purpose, you choose Table View list in Menu bar, choose Transport. Then, click on New button to create your TR.
2. CO has some sub module (CO-OM, CO-PA, CO-PC, EC-PCA...)
Master data of CO is depended on submodule you want to know.
- With EC-PCA, master data is Characteristic, Value fields.
- With CO-OM, master data is Cost Element, Cost Center, Internal Order...

Julie
