Hi Experts,

when I navigate to Keys & Requests --> Lisence Keys --> (select any system) --> it will show details of the system

System ID                     ABC

System number             310924699

System name               ECC Development Server

System type                 Development system

Product                        SAP ERP

Product version             SAP ERP 6.0

Database                      IBM DB2 Universal DB for Unix and Windows

                                   Database valid until 16.12.2012

Operating system          Windows

I dont understand why it is showing that Database valid until 16.12.2012.

Last week I have renewed the maintenance certificate.

How do I check the validity for DB2 Database.

Also, it is showing for all ECC Servers.

Please suggest.

Thanks

Harikrishna

Dear Harikrishna,

Please check if the license is really expired by issuing the command
db2licm -l

if the license shows as expired, and you recieved your database software
through SAP, please apply the permanent license file as per SAP Note
816773 - DB6: Installing an SAP OEM license

Hi Paul

This shows for all the ECC servers.

Executing db2licm -l shows it is permanently licensed!!

Then why it shows Database valid until 16.12.2012...what does this imply??

Harikrishna
