Dear Experts,
I have the doubt in distributing the SAN disks (Shared Storage) for Cluster Groups.
I am installing ECC6.0 EHP5 (windows 2008R2 with Oracle), I have configured the 3 cluster groups as below:
ECCCluster: for administration purpose
ECCSAP: 10.10.10.11 > Assigned the drives E (for Trans dir) F(SAPDATA) G(ASCS )
ECCoracle: 10.10.10.12 > Assigned the drives I (Ora Arch) J (Orilog / Mirror log)K (Orilog / Mirror log)
CI, DI, ERS, and oracle software installing in the local Disks.
Is there any SAP recommendation as which directories under which cluster group? I checked the installation guide but I could not find anywhere. Please suggest.
Thanks:

Hi ,
I suggest you to do the following.
CLUSGRP - > Have all your windows related service i.e Cluster related like cluster service, Quorum etc.
SAPGRP -> Have all your SAP related services (Your SAP services, Trans dir, and File System in which you have installed the SAP)
DBGRP -> Have all your db related services and SAPDATA,ORAARCH,REDO AND MIRROR LOG

Hi Kishore,
We have sort of a similar environmet. I suggest the following disks to be clustered.
G: -> ASCS instance
I:, J: K: -> Oracle
Cheers!!
