B04 -Information Design Tool - login screen - can't change system - Bug?

Hi,

When login to IDT the system box doesn't allow entry on 2nd and subsequent logins.

Whys is this>

Using BO4 SP5 but same on previous ones as well.

All other tools e.g Universe Design Tool - can choose.

Even as Administaror login same scenario.

Any ideas why?

Philip,

     This is NOT a bug.  You are doing the wrong function.  Your screen say "OPEN SESSION", which means connect to existing server session.  If you want to change servers, you need to insert a SESSION, see below.

You need to read the MANUALS before make such post.

This is the screen which shows when try login to IDT.

I understand within IDT,  we can connect to a new session.

However, believe authentication should come on first login like the other products.

I seems you can only connect to new sessions once logged in - not ideal.

Philip,

      This is a JAVA base tool, this is why it works completely different.  You need to create a NEW session / connection for every server you need to connect, this is how the IDT tool works.
