Hi SAP QM gurus,
we have a requirement where in we have a sample size calculation based on the sampling scheme for quantities against GR for a pur Order. Now the process requirement is that even if 1 peice is found to be defective then it should automatically trigger 100 % inspection for rest of the quantity.
Any ideas or suggestions on how this can be done?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
UR
Its really very complex requirement.
- SAP has provision of "dependent multiple sampling" but it works when "A clear valuation of the sample cannot be made because the number of nonconforming units or number of defects in the sample is higher than the acceptance number and lower than the rejection number."
Now This can not be used here ,considering the fact that you will definetly valuate the sample & will not necessory satisfy above criteria & more or less it works only for a valuation mode for an attributive inspection.
Considering these limitations I think its not possible to solve your requirement with std SAP QM.
Logically how will you valuate same sample twice, with different scope & Valuation ? Not possible !!

Hi Uma,
Does it mean that once you have calculated sample size from sampling scheme if in result recording you say as one piece is deffective, again you want to calculate sample as 100%?
Please elaborate your requirement
