Dear Venu Gopal Reddy

In VBFA you will find two fileds VBELV (Preceding Doc.) and VBELN(Follow-on doc.).

If you put the value in VBELV (**leave VBELN blank), it will bring all the documents created after this document in VBELN, means this is (VBELV) parent and in VBELN all the Follow-on doc.

if you put the value in VBELN (**leave VBELV blank) you will find all the previous documents in VBELV.

Thanking you!

dear,

i suggest this is a basic question.

please search before to post.

per my understanding:

please run VA03 and take any existing order with subsequent documents (delivery , invoice...)

open a Document flow and see all of them.

open a second session and run SE16 (or SE11) - look at table VBFA

put the order number in field VBELV and run data browser - you will see all relevant records where VBTYP_N field shows the category (what is that) - say, J for Delivery and M for invoice

also remember that POSNV field points you to particular item

what to get another example?

okay.

say...you have an invoice number and want to get all relevant documents above (up to order number)

run SE16 for VBFA

put your invoice number into VBELN filed and execute

regards,
