Un-tic the SU on a storage type

We have incorrectly started with Storage Unit management on one storage type in a standard WM-setup. For the other storage types we will continue with SU as planned.

My question is, is it possible to un-tic “SU mgmt active” for this storage type but leave the rest of the storage types untouched? We have already thousand of materials in this storage type.

Dear Roland ,

You need to move inventory to temporary storage type and bin location before system allows you to uncheck SU management for storage type.

Steps would be as below

1. Do a stock transfer from source storage type to temporary storage type , bin

2. Un check SU

3. Move inventory back to same bins.

I wasn’t sure but you have verified my thinking, so I will follow your steps when unchecking the SU for my storage type
