Calling a tcode through URL, but wants to open in sap gui windows

Hi guys,

Am calling tcode from my webdynpro component button action through URL, but by default its opening in sap gui html,

but i want to call it using sap gui windows,

Am unable to find the parameter for this behaviour.

Anyone know what is the application parameter to call tcode in sapgui html, sapgui windows.

Hi Nitin,

How can I call the Windows SAP GUI with specific transaction code over an URL? I only know the solution for the webgui but not for the windows GUI.

Are you in sapgui initially and then click on some action that send you to web browser?

If yes, you can call another screen with a custom container passing the URL as parameter, then you can open the browser inside the container using sapgui.

Am calling from webdynpro program, i.e from portal ...

am calling that tcode using webgui services.

url looks like below

http://xxxxxxxxxxxx/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui?~transaction=*ztcode.

by default its opening in sapgui html, i want to open in sapgui windows
