DUPREC error on table CNVTDMSSCR_DOMS for SAP standard scrambling rules.

We want to use the SAP standard scrambling rules Rule_Vendor_Number, Rule_Customer_Number and Rule_Material_Number.

They all have domains defined.

When we save these with our 'system landscape' defined we get a short dump.

The short dump occurs in program SAPLCNV_TDMS_SCR, function CNV_TDMS_SCR_SET_DATA. The error is a duprec error on table CNVTDMSSCR_DOMS for each of the domain entries in the scrambling rules.

I tried removing the entries from the table for one of the rules but the were inserted then it still short dumped suggesting it is trying to insert twice.

Hi Sandeep,

I don't actually want to change the rule, except for assigning a 'landscape system' to it and when I save it gets the short dump.

In case anyone is wondering, I get the short dump whether I assign the landscape system or not? I can also simply go into edit mode and save and it short dumps. As I said above, I've done the debugging and seen that it's tryiing to write duplicate records to the domain table.

I've create a sap message as well but no useful response so far.
