How to reduce search time.

It takes time in SRM 7.0  to  search for admin or manager to shop on behalf for shooping cart to get the name populated, time is around 5  minutes .

is  there  a possibility to reduce this  search time and have a quick search option.

Hi,

Seems like you have populated the value of the attribute "Requester" with the <O><Org ID> . Due to this the requester will be able to shop- on behalf of all the users in the Organization.

If this has to be restricted make sure that you define the attribute value as <US><UserID> so that the search takes a lesser time.

Hi,

If you have restrictions as to who can shop on behalf of whom,please enter the appropraiate value in the attribute "REQUESTER" in the org structure attribute accordingly.This would definately improve the search time.

Buy-on-behalf queries from HRP* tables and BUT000 table.

You will have to look at any OSS notes to  create indexes on these tables.

Also you can look at adding the frequently used Buy-on-behalf users as favorites.
