Dear all,

My user requirement is that, GR should not be done without Inspection Plan.

It can be applicable in all inspection type.

Is any customization or user exit available in SAP?

Please suggest....

Logically why should we as QM restrcit the Goods recipt by Store(MM) person ,when we have not maintained master data ?

Perhaps this is a reason why we get CRTD status for inspection lot.

Or

If buyer is purchaing goods without know quality ,then its vendor or material aaproval system that is an issue.stopping GR is not good idea for this reason !

Nevertheless ,you can achive the same using exit

QBCK0003 Extended QM check for goods receipt

Hi,

While GRN of more materials e.g. GR contains 5 line items & from them 2 materials doesn't have Inspection Plan, but still program blocked GRN of all materials. We want those mat. having Inspection plan that will posted. How can we achieved this?

Please suggest....

I have to agree with Sujit.  This is an issue with the business process and QM should not be blocking the receipts.  That can be an expensive time to block a material movement for the following reasons:

- if you don't receive the item in, the shipper can't unload and must return the material.  But if it is your fault there was no QM data, the vendor would want you to pay for all costs.

- if you choose to unload, you have material sitting on your docks or in your warehouse that is not in your inventory.  This not only gives you inaccurate financials and risks something being stolen or lost, (since you have no record, whose to say it was there?).  Also, depending on the material, it might also be in violation of local fire regulations or health and safety regs.  In this situation you would be unable to provide an accurate list of potentially hazardous materials on site to emergency responders and or regulatory inspectors.  (Did you know some forms of White-out, along with other office supplies, depending on quantities, can be considered hazardous materials?)

SAP has transactions to routinely check for materials without inspection plans.  These should be incorporated into your business process as a regular duty of someone on a daily or weekly basis since this appears critical to your busines.  See this help file:

There is no standard cusomization in SAP.

Only enhancement can fulfill your requirement.

And this enhancement (which I mentioned) is used very often for goods movement validation in MM side.
