"returns item" does not work for STO?

hi all,

in STO cases, seems like the return item does not work?

in my STO line 1, i am sending from plant A to plant B and everything is done.

in my STO line 2, i copied everything from line 1 and tick the "returns item" box to test a STO return from plant B back to plant A.

however seems like it does not work for STO..anyone can confirm the above is a standard sap design that "returns item" does not cater for STO?

**remark**if i were to create another STO to post the return from plant B to plant A, it will not be an issue.

Please type the text "Returns in STO+SAP" in Google and execute.  You will find many times, this topic has been discussed here.  Please take the inputs from there.  Also, you will find standard documentations once you search in Google.  Most importantly, please go through the forum rules before posting any query.

   Under MM-PURCHASING--PURCHASE ORDER--RETURNS ORDER--RETURNS TO VENDOR

maintain the Returns delivery Document-NLR against the Purchasing doc type for your Plant

This will work.
