SAP roles for CRM Mobile users

Hi All,

Ca anyone provide me the information on the respective roles that need to be assigned to different users like in CRM Mobile users,developer/sales users using laptop etc.

Any pointer to this issue will be very helpful.

The market shows that mobile roles could be categorized into five segments:

1) Processes for Mobile users in general

[Voice interface for smallest devices]

2) Processes for Business Managers

[Real time Information

Huge data source]

3) Processes for Warehouse Employees

[Real time information]

4) Processes for Field Force

[Connectivity issues

Pre-selective Information]

5) Processes for Field Force Experts

[Connectivity issues

Rich feature requirements]

Thanks for the reply.

We did not find any Mobile related roles in the CRM side. Are these five roles that you mentioned to be created? If so then what authorisations should be given to each?

Hi Ipsita,

By using MI we can build CRM applications.

MAM (Mobile Asset Management) is an MI application.

We can take these roles tobe created in CRM.

Roles:

1) Customers reporting to <b>Representatives</b>.

2) Reprasentatives reporting to <b>customercare</b>

3) Customercare people assigns to <b>dispatcher</b>

4) Dispatches assignes to <b>Field technicians</b>

5) Field technicians accepts the order and confirms it and closes.
