BW/BI on SAP HANA in AWS for personal learning

After reading the following blog I found that you can have SAP HANA DB for development and learning.

I tried to research to configure BW on SAP HANA but could not really come to conclusion. I registered my self to AWS and tried to find my way but I cant really do it until configure the whole instance.

I need someone to guide me if thats possible for learning purpose. I will keep researching on this.

Hi Andrea,

Thanks for the update. However, I have already found about that through twitter updates. It is valid only for 30 days though. I believe it is enough time for people who want to learn BW/BI on HANA.

This discussion is 9 months old so you can imagine SAP took that long to realize that they could do it as cloud solution. Anyway, somebody thought about it and implemented (it sounds like delivering a baby..lol). Thanks to that person/team.

How this query is related to developer-centre?

Is configuring BW on HANA not a BI query? If anybody has done it already then they must be BI people not developers.

    I'm not quite sure if HANA on AWS is ready for a BW implimentation. Everything I've read so far looks to use a HANA appliance for BW. With that said, you'll want to start at the home page link for the development center to learn how to get HANA up and running. Start with
