Custom Fields in checklist item - PPM 5.0

Hi,

We have facing issue, while adding custom fields at checklist item level. We have followed SAP suggested way to achieve this requirement. The steps we followed are as below;

Defined custom fields in structure DPR_TS_CHCKLST_I_EXTENDED_ATTR

Under Global Enhancements to Project Elements in Define Field Groups for Customer Fields - defined field group for checklist item.

Ran the report DPR_CUST_FLDS_IN_FC_MAP to bring the fields in Field setting config. Fields are appearing here

The custom tab as per field grouping is appearing at checklist item level, but no fields in it. We are not sure what needs be done further. Please let us know if somebody encountered the same issue or know anything further needs to be done to solve this issue.

Please provide any hints or something to check if you feel might help us to crack the problem.

Hi Pramod,

I don't have any custom field at checklits but I have several at task level.

I had to configure 'Define Fields Groups for Customer fields'

1.  Create a Field Group assigned to your object ( checklist in your case)

    1.1. Include your new fields in it ( and active all of them)

2. Assign the project type to your object and to your field group and active them

Other important thing.. your custom field has to be called ZZ*****

You have also to configure  Set Up Field Control.

1. Assign Fields to fields groups

2. Field control to additional conditions.

Could you review all these steps.. ( at least they are the ones that I configured for a task)

Is there any way to include custom fields to Dates and Work Tab?
