Document Printing Question

Is there any way to use ME (6.02) Document Printing to Print a list of all BOM Components for an SFC with the BOM Quantities and Floor Stock Locations?

Looks like its not possible with any out of box solution.

But good news is ,From my knowledge ..its possible with some custom development.

For example with Codesoft :

Design your label in codesoft .

Write pass file using ME custom activity with the data label needs in to a network location. (.txt or XML)

Codesoft also supports database monitoring . As soon as record inserts into any table,it prints the label with that data. So,your custom activity should insert a record in a table in this case.

Sentinel program would pick up that pass file and prints to specific printer.

Hi Kevin,

Not sure if your specific needs can be met by the printing feature of SAP ME, but you can try it for your BOM.

The only place where the list of data available for printing is mentioned is "Document Options" tab of Document Maintenance. There are some related to BOM. If they can't satisfy your requirement, then I would say it is not possible in the current implementation.

The instruction on setting up printing can be found in the online help or in How-To Guide.
