Message in Picking for Batch that does not exist

Hi Gurus,

The user includes the batch manually during the picking. If he wrongly include a batch that does not exist the system does not allow to PGI that is correct, but the system allows to do the picking.

Is there a standard way to give a message in the delivery during the picking if he includes a batch that does not exist?

This can be achieved by maintaining batch search strategy records in t.code VCH1/VCH2. Make sure that the necessary configuration is done for batch search strategy types.

Hi Shiva, thanks for your help.

But I am checking that I need to choose a strategy type to create batch strategy.

I have here more than 10 strategies type registered. How can I know which one is regarding to my case? I mean where can I see the assignment of a strategy type.

Another question. Is it possiblem on this strategy to block the picking for a batch that does not exist?
