Hi all,
I have a requirement to clear the commitments from sub items level inside a service PO line item.
If I put the "Delivery completed" indicator, the commitment of the line item is cleared as a whole.
Please explain how can the commitments of sub items inside a Service line item be cleared in a PO.
Thanks,
Vinod.
If the commitments are posted, then they will be disappeared. Let us say, you have 100 k commitments in PO, and posted 50k only through MIGO and MIRO, then you see only 50k in commitments. So, check why there are commitments and try to post them. If not required, cancel them.
Thanks

Hi Narasimhulu Konnipati,
In my scenario, the POs are created from PRs which are automatically generated through Project Systems module.
We require to clear the commitments of unused/ partially used items inside service line items, such that budget allocated for that sub items can be reused.
For example:
I have a PO with service line item 10.
10 | N | D | Service 0002 | 1 | EA | D | 19.12.2012 | 300.00 | INR |
Inside this service line item i have the following 3 sub items:
10 | testing-1 | 10 | M3 | 10.00 | 100.00 | INR
20 | testing-2 | 10 | M3 | 10.00 | 100.00 | INR
30 | testing-3 | 10 | M3 | 10.00 | 100.00 | INR |
suppose only 8 M3 of sub item 10 is used, the value of remaining 2 M3 has to be cleared and returned to budget.
Putting delivery complete indicator is possible only at the main line item level but not in the sub item level.
Please let me know if there is any alternate method to clear the commitments at sub item level.
Thanks,
Vinod.
Hi Gordon,
My requirement is to clear the commitments at service specification level. Right now I can clear the commitments only at line item level by clicking the "Delivery completed" indicator. The problem is that if I clear commitments at line item level the specifications which are still under process under the line item will get affected.
Thanks,
Vinod.
