Find ERP object by characteristic value (text)

Hi experts!

Is there any BAPI for subj?

I need to get a batch number by its classification value(s), but I cannot find any standard bapi for this. The only way I see is to use SAP Query, but I would prefer to use BAPI.

Problem is solved. I found BAPI_CLASS_SELECT_OBJECTS.
