FormattedTextEdit - change paragraph spacing?

Hello,

is it possible to somehow reduce the amount of vertical whitespace that the FormattedTextEdit places between paragraphs? With the default configuration, the space is so large that one automatically assumes there's an empty line between the paragraphs, which isn't the case...

Hi Volker,

  You can create a paragraph format in SMARTSTYLE with spacing you need, there you can maintain the width of the line spacing...

...uh-huh. And how exactly would you tell the Web Dynpro / ABAP component FormattedTextEdit to use a Smart Style?

I ended up writing a SAPnet message and was told that this is a feature, not a bug. 😞

In the meantime, some users found out that they can generate <br/> breaks by pressing Shift+Enter, which does not create the large gap. Not really a solution, though...
