Upgrade to EHP5(can not apply note 1720495 because it is not released)

Hello!I am upgrading ERP 6.0 from EHP 4 to EHP 5.

Central upgrade note 1680769  tells that i have to apply 1720495 note after EHP installation to avoid the   system to became into  inconsistency state.

But this note  got status ''not released" 2 days ago.

What daes it mean? Is it not necessary to apply this note ?

I checked with the responsible person for Note 1720495 and he informed that the note is currently being tested after making the changes. They hope to release it by today itself or late by tomorrow.

Hello Stanislav,

OSS note Note 1720495 - Invalid deimplementation of obsolete notes by Snote tool is currently being changed/edited by SAP colleague and hence you are getting an message ''not released".

Once the changes are completed and tested the OSS note will be released for Customers, only then you can apply the OSS note to your system.
