License error on SAP

Hi,

I have installed the SAP on MSCS. There are 2 nodes one with CI instance and one with DI instance. I succesfully applied the license on CI instance but after few day i found tht my DI instance on other node temp license expired. I tried to create and new license for DI and apply it on DIU but it say an error that permanent license is already applied.

I am now only albe to login in the DI instance through SAP* user and not with any other user.

Hi Arun

In SAP netweaver if you have a clustered enviroment like one CI and many DI then you just have to install licence for CI.No need of doing it in DI.That is why you are getting an error that licesense is already applied.

Always keep this fact in mind.Check the DI instance why it showed that license expired.May be you can restart the cluster i mean both CI and DI once after applying license in CI.

Hello Arun,

The SAP Temporary license is valid for the duration of 4 weeks only.

It is expected that one should get a license key from SAP Market Place.

You cannot re-install a temporary license again. You have to register your system with SAP and get a new license from them.

Installing a new permenent license on CI would solve your problems.
