Does multilevel atp always create negative atp quantity?

Hi SAP-experts, when an atp check ist carried out in APO and a confirmation was not possible, the multilevel atp check is triggered. The sales order item is confirmed but in the product view negative atp is displayed. Is this standard behaviour or should temporary planned orders be displayed in the product view?

??? MATP doesn't create tremporary planned orders.  MATP creates an ATP tree

structure.

I am not sure what your expectaion is.  Can you elaborate?

The questions are

MATP confirms the sales order - correct?

And so a negative ATP quantity is created (until the ATP tree is converted?.

Hi Tanja,

with MATP ATP tree structure remains till the time you convert the same in to reciept, so negative ATP situation remains till that time since actual reciepts are not created till you convert ATP tree into reciepts.
