Quantity Contract

Dear Gurus,

I have query regarding the quantity contract for 10000 pieces of X material. I have created a contract and with reference to the contract i have created the sales order for 1000 pieces. Will the updates the initial 10000 pieces to 9000 in the contract or it stays 10000.In the open contract report va45 the system is showing 10000 pieces as it is even if the sales order is created with reference to the contract.

can anyone help me in this regard.

hi,

if you want to see open qty in cotract, just go va42, click document flow button, click status overview(note: indoc flow select qty contract), click + button(for diplay link) on required item, you can see partially referenced as the qty what you ordered and you can see referenced as remaining qty.

for this you should, follow in vtaa as siva said. it should be done at item level in copy control at update doc flow.

  Please check your Copy Controls in VTAA and verify what is the value entered in the Field''update document flow''  under Item Category.
