Document Compare Function

Hi ,

I am new to CLM, we recently imp

lemented CLM In our company.

We are facing a problem when trying to complete the document compare function and it seems not working properly,

I know it is a standard feature , I don't know why it is behaving odd.

Any suggestions on this will be help full

Hi Roopesh,

a couple of pointers, do you use MS Office 2007 ? And do you have the doc types enabled for MS Word 2007 i.e. docx files. Is the contract generation server running ? Do you have it working on the correct hardware (you can check hardware requirements on our PAM entry on SAP Service Marketplace @ www.service.sap.com/pam --> type in your S-User credentials --> Search for SAP Sourcing/CLM --> click on your version.

I was about to post a message when I saw this post. I'm facing a similar problem when I try to use the compare functionality to compare two versions of the same contract document.

Sometimes I get an error message saying that there was a problem with the contract generation webservice, asking to contact the system administrator.

I've accessed the Event Viewer on the Contract Generation Server and this was the content of the log when the messaged appeared on the SAP CLM system:

Im having the same issue, I uncheck in the contract template the option of Generate MS word 2007
because I was having problems in the check in and check out, but now the compare button is not working, I click on the button and nothing happen,

how did you solve your problem.
