ID Type CRM002 R3 Customer Number

Hi all,

I realized a change of behaviour in SAP CRM system I ma using:

in the last weeks, when I have created a Business Partner in SAP CRM system using the tx BP, Id type CRM002 was not displayed even if the Business Partner was replicated in ECC,

Today, I realized that after the business partner is replicated in SAP ECC, the ID type CRM002 is displayed and populated with the ID of BP in ECC.

Please consider that I don't have change anything about the ID type and categories.

Do you know what can be the explanation of this different behaviuor?

Hi,

This seems to be standard behavior. The customer no. of ECC is shown in the Identification area of the BP.

Hi,

     Are you referring to the role field having CRM002 value along with it?

It maybe that the display of key fields was set off in the GUI settings.

CRM002 is key field value for sold to party role.

Hi Gabriella,

There is nothing wrong in the system . This standard behaviour , it automatically creates an entry for ID type CRM002 when we turn on the PIDE settings for customer creation in ISU.

I also face the same issue , and debugged the system for it  . They have hard coded this in CRM system ,

If required i can tell the code location as well.
