Customer Return Inspection -- Urgent

Dear all,

I am new to sap and my customer is having an urgent requirement in sap qm of Customer Return inspection.

Following settings I have done for this

1. Maintained Inspection Type 06 in Material master.

2.Config: SPRO --> QM --> Quality insp --> Insp Lt creation --> Insp

at shipping -->

Assigned Inspection Lot Origin to Delivery Type. Here assign insp

type-06 to your returns delivery type

3. In inspection plan I have assigned Usage 5 and Status 4

4. Create SD info record (QV51)

5. Create sales order (Va01)

6. Create delivery (VL01N)

But after these steps I am unable to find the inspection lot at QE51N against material.

Please let me know if any config setting I have to change or do more.

This requirement is very urgent and points will be rewarded.

I assume an inspection lot was created, but not released because of wrong task list usage in inspection plan.

Please check an inspection lot exists or not using transaction QA33.

If exist, change the task list usage 6 in plan and change inspection lot, then assign plan, calculate sample & save.

Now you can see an released inspection lot at transaction QE51N.

Dear,

Please go as per below process,

1) Maintain inspection type 06 in material master

2) Please maintain in SPRO --> Assign Inspection lot Origin to Delivery type.

3) Please assign inspection plan for customer with usage 05.

4) Create return delivery with reference to salee order.

5) Create delivery and do PGI ( Post Goods Issue)

Lot will generated.

Hello..

1. If you want to Create customer returns, and if you have activated inspection type '06' then task list usage must be 6 and not 5.

2. Check tthe movement type in the transaction VOV6, for the required schedule line catagory. if the movement type is 651 then after creating return sales order , stock will be returened to stock type ' returns'. ( pls check if it is working in your case) and inspection lot is generated. you can record results and give UD to this lot.

Hi Saurav,

You need to do good reciept of your delivery order(with created by Return sales order).After that go to Repair Tab of sales order  and select the line of Return and click inspection lot .\

Check VOV6 tcode & check the movement type.
