Error in Fixed Assets Add-On in SAP B1 8.82 PL08

Hi

I have upgraded SAP B1 8.82 PL08 (earlier it was 8.81 PL15)

but my fixed Assets Add-on did not starts/upgraded

FYI: it was not working earlier version too...

Now when i start this add-on, it creates/update  tables/fields of my current DB

and at last shows error:

On click of this OK shows message: "Initialization Failed"

Same Add-On is working fine on same server with other database on same version.

Pl help to resolve this problem as we want to use fixed-assets add-on now

Hi,

Earlier I have SAP B1 8.80 PL15 and SQL Server 2005 SP1 and it was working fine

then upgrade to 8.81 PL 07 and Fixed Asset Add-on stop working

and now upgrade to 8.82 PL08 still not working Fixed Asset Add-on

now i created new DataBase in 8.82 PL08 and Fixed Asset Add-on start working in New DB

but i can not work in this add-on in my main DataBase

can any one help how to start add-on in upgraded DataBase with SQL Server 2005 ?

Hi Nilesh Shah....

1,Item Group 100 exists in the Database.

Please run following query, to ensure that the item group 100 is defined:

SELECT * FROM OITB T0 WHERE T0.ItmsGrpCod =100

2,The DIAPI is on the same patch Level as the Common DB.

You can check the DI version from C:/ Program Files/SAP/SAP

Business One DI API/DI API 2007/,right click on SAPbobsCom2005.dll properties >version tab: special build description.

3,The tax code which is required for your localization exist in the

If all above settins is OK, please follow the steps in note 819501: How to clean client after corrupted installation. Uninstall the Fixed Assets and install Fixed Assets from the installation files of 2007A SP01 PL05.

**Please noticed that if there is any other add-ons installed, please delete the part of Fixed Assets in AddOnsLocalRegistration.sbo file only, not the whole file. Otherwise, the other installed add-on will be affected.

I tried all above steps but still not success

I am working on SAP B1 8.82 PL08 (US)

I compare with other DB where Fixed Assets Add-On is working fine on same server

and i compare with both DB only difference in Finance Period

My Working DB having April-March where Fixed Asset Add-On is not working

and my Test DB having Jan-Dec where Fixed Asset Add-On is working fine

Is it make any difference?

OR what else should i try to activate this Add

Hi

I upgrade my SQL Server to SQL Server 2008 R2

but still not able to start Fixed Asset

also uninstall and tried fresh installation of fixed assets Add-on

but still not able to install/start Fixed Assets Add-On

I am using SAP B1 8.82 PL08; SQL Server: 2008R2

any one can help me ?

Checked add-on logger file and get details

finally  add-on started

In this case, check SBO-Common to find out all add-on related info through SARI table.

checked SARI table and there are all details related add-on

but how can i fix error for Fixed Assets Add-on?

Check FA related table in the main database. Something must be wrong.

i checked BA_* table and also tried with clean all table and re-install add-on

but is not working

For other database on same version on the same server, is it also upgrade from old or installed new?

I tested add-on on same server with other databases,

my other databases are upgraded and I also check in new database too

Fixed add-On is working fine on all other database

but is not working only on main database
