Hello,
We have sapnetweaver 7.31 EHP1 JAVA AS. We are using SUM v.05 to deploy SPS05.
OS is server 2008 R2 and DB MSSQL 2008 R2.
We have the following error at execution phase:
“Could not execute migration controllers for action
migrate.database;migrate.deploy;migrate.engine.data;migrate.default.data;migrate.data
and scenario all executed in slot pre.deployment. Could not execute migration
controllers for action
migrate.database;migrate.deploy;migrate.engine.data;migrate.default.data;migrate.data
and scenario all executed in slot pre.deployment. Cannot retrieve value from
descendant with path
/J2EE/StandardSystem/Instances[1]/InstanceSidAdminUser/Password.
“SUM execute component-deploy-710 execute-predeployment-migration-controllers com.sap.sdt.j2ee.services.servicesimpl.JMTService class
com.sap.sdt.util.diag.DiagException
Before the error, SUM stopped and started the instance without problems.
I already read the main notes for SUM, and didn' t found anything. The installation is stopped. The retry takes the same behaviour.
Ideas?
Thanks,
Best Regards,
Verónica

Hello Premsukh,
The SUM SP06 was released yesterday.
It seems, in fact that the new version solve some bugs related to update process and that applies to our action :
Applying Support Packages Stacks to the following systems:
Systems based on SAP NetWeaver 7.3 including enhancement package 1;
But what is the correct action? Stop the current installation? Remove the SUM directory and replace it for the new version? And what happens to the already deployed components? The installation of sps05 was already in execution phase. For ex. JVM was already updated.
The system can not became unstable?
thanks,
Verónica
