Hi

I work as a BW developer and need to check "mrp element indicator" for some materials. I wrote an extractor that extracts data to BW on some conditions. one condition says that it has to extract materials that have "mrp element indicator" one of AR and PP. where can I find if a material le tsay 97867564 has it "mrp element indicator" or not?

Andrzej,

To add a bit to expert Debashis' answer, the MRP element you see in MD04 is a language dependent text that is used for display.  The actual MRP element to text mapping can be seen in ECC transaction OMD5.  There you will see that

AR = Dependent Reservation (EN)

PP = Planned Independent Requirement (EN).

As stated by Debashis, these two items are Transactional data, and not Master Data.

Hii Andrzej,

MRP Element is for an recipt or an requiremnt . It is not for a material. You can have what are the MRP elements are present for a material for a specified location from MD04 screen.
