Hi All

I wanted to know if anyone is using the Add Assignment on any of the Stages. See below screenshot.

Additional to that does anyone have a detailed document describing each setting on this Stage Definition?

This will really assist.

Hi Mustafa,

If you check the option 'Add Assignment', it will allow you to add assignments such as roles during runtime of the request i.e. while approval process. However, this will not allow removal of any assignments which have already been added to the request and for those assignments, you will find 'Remove' button as disabled.

Also, there is no document specific to explain each of these task settings.

Please let me know if you wish to know the functionality of any other particular option.

From our Audit side we find this as a risk. This allows the Manager to add additional Roles.

Is this working for you current and what value is it adding to your company? I'm just doing some research before we decide to enable it.

Currently, it is not selected for my current MSMP configuration. But even though it is not activated, manager can still add the assignment!

Hi Faisal,

This is not the case, when the Add Assignment option is unchecked. Please provide the SP on which you have tested this.

If the Add Assignment option is unchecked on any Stage, the "Add" and "Remove" buttons are not available on that stage at all.
