GRC 10: What is Routing Level???

Hi,

I am unable to understand what is the purpose of these two Routing Level options: Request Level and Line Item Level at a stage?

Can anybody help me understand this?

Hi Faisal,

The purpose of the routing levels is explained below

1. Request Level: This means that the assignments contained in the role will be forwarded in whole and not in parts. For example: You have added two roles in the request, the routing would be done for both the roles

2. Line Item Level: This means that routing of the request can be done in parts. For example: If the request has two roles(One with role owner and other without role owner),  role with role owner can be forwarded to one path and the role without role owner can be forwarded to anotehr path.
