Dot in element name

Hi,

I need to create an ingoing external interface. On element in the xsd has a dot in the name - like <some.element>. This is not recomended in xml but allowed. In PI however you get an error when trying to do that.

Do you have an idea how to solve this problem?

where you are getting issue in PI? is it at adapter level or mapping level?

Hi Hidayat,

I already get the error when trying to set up the interface in the Message Editor. Would the solution be to interpret it as a text file and map to xml structure that does not use the dot?
