New DIR version creation - Object link selection option in EasyDMS

Hi Friends,

Our client uses both EasyDMS7.0 and EasyDMS7.1 versions.

When a new version DIR is being created from an existing DIR (in EasyDMS), a pop-up comes up asking if object links need to be copied or not. This pop-up gives check boxes which can be selected or deselected. This facility is working fine in EasyDMS7.1 but not in 7.0. EasyDMS 7.0 shows the pop-up but the check boxes are greyed out and hence no selections or deselections can be made. How to rectify this in 7.0 version. Please help me in finding a solution.

This is same case even in SAP DMS in ECC 6. looks like SAP new change, any solution to avoid the pop up and copy object link as it is

Hi Pratap,

Why are you using both versions?

When latest version is available, you should always use latest version.

Any reason behind using both versions?
