ME011 Purchasing group XXX not defined

Hello Experts,

After creating a shopping cart, we got an error as "ME011 Purchasing group XXX not defined" .

I checked the product category, plant and company code and found that all are assigned to PGrp xxx.

I tried to search in community and found few threads related to this(somehow). But unfortunately didn't get any clear idea about this problem.

Please suggest if anything else need to check.

message class ME is a R/3 one: your purchasing group does not exist in T024 table.

Purchasing Group exists in T024 table.

Hello Rudresh,

Could you please advise if you are able to save the shopping cart? I mean is this warning message or hard error and will not save you shopping cart?

If it is hard error; When creating shopping cart for the user can you see in Item data tab if Purchase Group is filled as you have mentioned that you have checked set up in PPOSA_BBP for Purchase Group where Responsibility tab for Purchase group has assigned the Product category which he/she is responsible for.
