Hi
I was working on creating value mapping in ID.....here I observed that when i started entering the values like ( XI - excahnge infrastructure and BI - Business information )
It create one value mapping group for each of these values.....this will result in too many groups if we have many values.....how can we add the values in one group?
Hi Hema,
You have to add values in Cache Monitoring of RWB for the same scheme and Agency.

Hi Nabendu.
I am working on this http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/XI/Value+mapping
here if you see there are 3 value mapping groups created for 3 value pairs ...
I want to know why separate value mapping groups are getting created for each pair ( for e.g XI - exchange infrastructure )
PS : my scenario is workig fine
Hello Hema,
I have the same problem.
In Value Mapping Group, there is one to one relation.
So I am considering JDBC Lookup or Java mapping
Is there another way to accomplish this problem..

Hello Iñaki,
My PI version is 7.31 and my scenario is RFC 2 JDBC
So instead of RFC Lookup, I can do this in the RFC Function.
However, I dont want to do these mappings in ABAP.
For example: My old system has a XML file which contains 200 mappings pair like following:
<Mapping>
<Map Domain="DMN1" code="X">1</Map>
<Map Domain="DMN1" code="Y">2</Map>
<Map Domain="DMN1" code="Z">3</Map>
</Mapping>
In PI, how can we do this. Adding new value to the mapping should be easy.
