System/client copy question

Hey Guys,

I have a small question regarding system/ client copy -

I have a validation system that I want to refresh from production (client 100), but it has 2 other clients(client 200 and client 201) which I want to retain. So, I export the client (create a transport) and then do a system copy and then do the client import (for both 2 clients)

My question is - Since I will be imorting the client with SAP_ALL profile, how will this affect the cross client customizing. Will it not overwrite the cross client customizing in the main production client(client 100) that I copied?

Please throw some light and help me understand it.

Hi Bill,

According to me, the SAP_ALL doesn't include the cross client customizing. SAP has designed the profile SAP_EXPA for the SAP_ALL with cross client customizing. The below liink may help you
