QM Steps after goods receipt in store..

Hi Experts,

I have create goods receipt in RM store with Quality inspection.

Now Stock shows in Quality.

Now i want to what are the next step in SAP by Quality Control Dept...

and How..  required full guide with tcodes.

Hi Anand,

1.You have to maintain Quality Management view in material mater(MM01).

2.Inspection setup to be done in QM view maintain inspection type-01 and tick in activate and Post to inspec.

3.Master Inspection characteristics to be prepaared (Tcode QS21)

4.Quality Inspection Plan(Tcode QP01) and sampling procedures(QDV1).

5.When you make the GR, the inspection lot will be generated.

6.You can select the Inspection lot ( Tcode QA32) and process the Record Results and Usage Decision from there itslelf.

After making the UD - Usage Decision the stock will be posted to the Unrestricted stock from Quality Inspection Stock.

System doesn't show any inspection lot for item.

I am new in QM just 2 days exp.. so please explain in detail.

HI

Check the material code(MM02) whether relevant insp type  is activated or not.

If activated then insp lot will generate the stock will move to Quality.

If not activated go to MB1B & move the stock from quality to unrestricted using movement type 321.

After Goods receipt if inspection type is active then system will generate the lot , check the same by using QA32

After receving the lot , if inspection plan exists, system will release the lot using task list/insp plan.

if not exists create the same by using tcode QP01

Once lot is in release status , do the result recording using tcode QE01

After RR do the final decision using tcode QA11
