Create new Mapping Types

Hi Experts,

Is there any possibility to create new Mapping Types? I want to do a special scrambling taking the value and transforming it adding info to this field.

For example: if it comes a user name: "TESTNAME", i would like to change it to "1TESTNAME".

I think this is not possible using the standard Mapping Types, is it?

You can cannot create custom mapping types.
