deleting messages in EOIO queue

i found their are more than 4300 messages (in Messages in EOIO Sequences).

i want to cancel this messages ..but the catch is i need to find the Sequential Number in Lock ,

and i am not able cancel all of the in select all..

what is way out to can all the EOIO mesages ..or how to do if i need to delete the Queue ..or something with basis help i can do...?

you can delete all LUW's in a particular queue.

Also you can run the report RSXMB_CANCEL_MESSAGES for canceling all the messages in one go.

Hi Shakif,

If these messages were  visible in RWB--Message monitoring then fist cancell these message(if not required) then archiving/deletion job takes care about further.

If message were not visible and unable to cancel them manually then ask basis to change these message status to cancelled with error,then these message will be eligile to perform archive and deletion.

See note #872388 Troubleshooting Archiving and Deletion in PI - section 6.  Troubleshooting Archiving / Deletion in the Adapter Framework. Here you can see Report RSXMB_CANCEL_MESSAGES is the tool of choice for mass data handling, i.e. for canceling a large set of messages.
