Hi All,
My client wants some of the fields on the shopping cart to be shown as mandatory (asteriked). I know that HTML changes would be needed to achieve this requirement. Is there any other way that i could make these fields look mandatory?
Points for sure!!

Harshika,
From my experience i think HTML template changes are the only way to achieve this.
Thanks,

By using DOC_CHECK_BADI , u can force the error message in case u don't want to make changes to the HTML template.

Hi Harishika
I agree with Mani.
By now you would have become an expert in check badi..(most of your queries are leading there..)
You can use BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI here and given an error message.
Suggestions:
1) Do not give pop-up error message for all errors. Use append messages so that it gives as a list of errors in the document. Pop-ups could be irritating, if a user is entering many items.
