Output Determination error in External Mail Send

Hi,

I have configured output determination for billing with output type for sending invoice as external mail to contact persons.

In the output type i have maintained Medium 5, and dispatch time 4 with partner function CP.

I have assigned partner function CP to the output type and medium 5.

The access sequence used is Sales org/Billing type.

In customer master i have added the contact person number in partner functions tab.

In VV31, i created a cond record for key combination Sales org./Bil.Type with partner function CP, and medium 5 and dispatch time 4 with lang EN.

When the invoice is created, the output determination analysis shows 2 lines for the output type

i) One with 'Output found' with message 541 for the sales org and bill type

ii) second with 'No partner was found for partner function AP' with message 539.

In VF02, the output is not visible and when i tried to maintain manually, its giving a message "Partner xxxx (Contact Person number) does not exist for partner function AP".

I have checked some SAP notes and searched in the forum, but im not getting a relevant solution.

Please advise where i am mistaken.

Madhu,

Have you checked the Contact Person Partner CP is present in the Billing document header partner tab.

From you post it sounds like it is missing in the billing document.

Just check it once.
