Error while accessing Live Auction in SAP SRM 7.01

Dear Gurus,

We are implementing SRM 7.01 .When we are trying to launch Live Auction cockpit after clicking the live auction button inside the Auction it Opens up a new window after loading atlast it gives a error message saying that " Applet failed to connect to the message server " .we have activated the required customising switch for the live auction to happen in  ABAP server .

Any inputs are welcome for resolving the above error.

Hi Jayanta,

Looks like the system is still connection to the JAVA.

Please check with the BASIS if they have split the JAVA and ABAP stack as mentioned in the installation notes.

Thanks for your reply.I have checked the details of live Auction properties .All properties looks like Ok as you have mentioned above.Still we are facing the problem .Kindly suggest

Hi Jayanta,

Kindly verify the values of Live acution property table and adjust according to your landscape.

Standard recommend a value of property "msg.client.connFailureInterval" as "120000" and a value of "msg.client.connFailureCount" as "5".
