Message F2 273: Customers with same VAT registration number found - check required

Hi  all,

I  have  configured  the  message  '''273: Customers with same VAT registration number found - check required''  and  its  working  only  for  one  company  code.

For  anothers  its  not  appearing....

What  can  be  the  problem?Should  I  tick  any  other  check  mark  somewhere?

Hi ,

I  am  expecting  the  message  in  XD01  when  I  create  a  customer  with  VAT  code  which  is  already  entered  in  another  customer.

Hi Luis ,

check whether the message  273 is set as E in the following IMG Path. Applicatiaon area is F2.

Cross-Application Components -> Bank Directory -> Change Message Control.

If you set it as E, then you will get error message.
