Add Items to Initiative

Dear gurus,

i'm tring to add an item to initiative in PPM 5.0 , but the an error occurs:

'Instance of proxy class not found for object link type.'

Is it mandatory to set the object link in customizing between Item and Initiative?

Hi Michele,

This should not be mandatory as items and initiatives are both parts of SAP PPM.

Object link is to connect from SAP to non SAP.

Can you check whether you are able to create an item inside an initiative,

Also clear the cache and check whether it works.

Let me know if issue is resolved.

Hi Dirk,

i solved the issue simpy coping some tables from client 000 to my client using the report /RPM/CUST_COPY.

The procedure is described into ppm master guide under the section 'Navigation'.
