Hello everyone,
We are trying to connect SAP Visual Composer to SAP MII according to this manual, but we are having troubles with systems configuration.
Currently we are using newer versions of systems: NW 7.31 and newer Portal (do not know the exact version). We have configured (with great effort) the NW part and Portal part of the manual.
Notable differences to the manual:
- NW configuration was done through browser (NWA -> Configuration -> Application Resources)
- JDBC Driver itself was deployed though Create new resource -> Deploy new JDBC driver
Currently we are stuck with the connection test. When launch connection test in Portal we get the following error (as seen through Log Viewer):
Class Not Found: com.sap.xmii.custom.integration.jdbc.SAPxMIIJDBCDriver
I must note that NW reboot did not help. Can anyone guide us through NW configuration? Or maybe the original author (hi, Salvatore Castro!) can update the manual to new version of SAP Visual Composer and SAP NW?
Yours,
Marat
Question is no longer relevant and should be closed.
The problem was with incorrectly described library path in the manual. It must be declared as library:XMII_JDBC instead of library:XMIIDriver.
Yours,
Marat
