Hi All,

I am working on SRM 5.0 one of my requirement is that Approver shall be able to delegate their approval authority, by role and cost center, to other users. I Know this is not out of the box.can anybody let me know the amount of customization that is required to fullfil this requirement.

You can use the search help F4 BADI to customize the search by selecting only approvers that have the same role and cost center as the user who is delegating the approval. This BADI will look for all users with the Attributes role and cost center (KNT) in the org structure and display only those users for selection while delegating the process.
