Schedule a background job for PPF action processing

Dear Experts,

We need to schedule a bacth job for SPPFP report to process PPF actions.

Please let me know the program name to schedule the job.

I added program RSPPFPROCESS. But this will only select actions.  I guess, there is a different program for the actual processing.

Hello Shetty,

you have the possibility to execute the actions in background without scheduling a background job for transaction SPPFP. Scheduling this report as a background job is not advisable if you just want to trigger the execution of actions in the background w/o user interaction.

In the condition configuration, you can override the time of processing (even for actions that were delivered with SAP EWM standard). You can change the time of processing to "Processing when saving document". Take a look at the screenshot:

This will start the action after the LUW was processed in which the action was scheduled. Since you can also define start conditions for PPF action, your use case where the schedling and actual processing are seperated can be realised by defining a start condition...
