Hello,

We're trying to configure the PLM WebUI, and are having some trouble with the search connectors in the quick search. We'ev creted the required indexes in esh_cockpit and the data objects in spro, however the web ui still says:

Enterprise Search Connector for object type PLM_ACC is not available

Enterprise Search Connector for object type PLM_BOMMAT is not available

Enterprise Search Connector for object type PLM_DIR is not available

Enterprise Search Connector for object type PLM_ECN is not available

Enterprise Search Connector for object type PLM_MAT is not available

Regards

Mattias

Hi Shashi!

You need to ensure the RFC destination to TREX is working properly and then run the report

ESH_ADM_SET_TREX_DESTINATION by specifying that RFC destination.

Hope this helps.

Hi Shashi,

Please check the entries for the field Request (type) in the IMG activity Define Settings for PLM Search. For ACC, it should be blank. For material, BOM, DIR and ECM, it should be PLM, whereas for other objects it should be Default.

Actually, there are several activities you need to do to set up PLM Search correctly, and these can be found in the RDS documentation for PLM Foundation. Have you followed them properly?

Regards,

Rajeev
