For our dual-stack environments (ABAP+Java) we are trying to determine whether to install ABAP and Java on separate servers. Is this even possible? Has anyone ever tried?
The SCS and DB schema installation on separate hosts works but Java CI installation on a host different than the ABAP CI fails. SAP confirmed thru an OSS note that ABAP and Java engines have to be installed on the same server in a dual-stack situation.
